About the Webinar:
Viewed by over 300 industry professionals, Kaleido and IDEMIA, explored the new eSIM IoT specification and the opportunities it presents for OEMs and MNOs.
eSIM for IoT use cases has outstanding potential, however, current market adoption remains low, with only around 30% of global Remote SIM Provisioning investments being directed towards M2M profile support in 2022. Meanwhile, only 31% of cellular IoT adopter enterprises have leveraged eSIM for IoT operations, as of April 2023.

In reaction to market demand, the GSMA has published critical documents for the eSIM IoT specification during 2022 and 2023. The specification is designed to considerably reduce the technical burden associated with eSIM support and use across global deployments.

Harnessing the potential of eSIM for IoT use cases is key for MNO and OEM connectivity strategies moving ahead. In this webinar, Kaleido, alongside IDEMIA, explored the best practices to harness the new specification and deliver mass-market eSIM in IoT devices.

What we covered:

✓ How eSIM can overcome key industry challenges towards IoT connectivity

✓ Impact of the new eSIM IoT specification on the industry

✓ Views from the ground on implementing eSIM for MNOs & OEMs

✓ Live Q&A
